Watch: The First Indian Surf Team at El Salvador’s Surf City

Team’s first hit at the big leagues

In 2023, India sent its first-ever surf team for Olympic qualifying — a monumental moment for a country where half the population might not even know the sport exists. In this documentary by the official Olympics channel, we get an intimate look at how these boys made it from their fishing villages on India’s east and west coasts to the international waters, competing against the best surfers in the world.
