Watch: Get Familiar with Punta Roca Break Before the CT Stops in El Salvador Tomorrow

Your guide to the CT breaks

Whether you’re an avid surfer already in the know or a newcomer eager to dive into the world of surfing and competitions, this video will give you an inside look at what’s happening on the global surfing stage.

In 2023, the Indian team made its debut at Surf City El Salvador, competing at the iconic breaks of El Sunzal—known for its long, mellow right-hand point waves—and La Bocana, a river-mouth break that offers both right and left-hand waves. This was part of the ISA Olympic Qualifying event. Meanwhile, one of the key Surf City El Salvador breaks, Punta Roca, a world-class right-hand point break, is now a staple on the WSL Championship Tour, making its fourth appearance in 2025.

Ranked 4th on the CT Tour, Punta Roca is quickly becoming a favorite among surfers worldwide.

Check out this edit by Lakey Peterson, one of America’s top surfers and a WSL-ranked athlete, as she showcases the best of Punta Roca ahead of the tour’s start tomorrow, April 2nd, 2025.
